The organization has been working since 1979 for women’s empowerment, especially for financially weaker sections.
It provides credit support to women who do not have financial backing so they can start small businesses and become self-reliant.
Most of its members belong to economically weaker groups, with women forming the majority.
It has also successfully organized State-level Co-operative Council programs.
Kalyani Women’s Co-operative Prabodhini was established as a trusted social service institution.

In an effort to promote environmental conservation through tree planting within its institution, Anjali Patil, along with dignitaries… participated in the Kumbh Mela and Smart City Campaign in Nashik. The Director, members of the Kalyani family, and staff were actively engaged in the Nandini River Sanitation Mission, contributing to the cleaning of the river.

participation of women in cooperation..

Women’s Savings Group

Through the Kalyani Women’s Civil Co-operative Credit Society and Kalyani Women’s Prabodhini, savings groups have been established for women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. A monthly subsidy account for these savings groups has been initiated at the Kalyani Credit Society, providing financial support to them. To date, a total of three savings groups have been formed, all of which are actively operating. These groups are distributed across various neighborhoods in Nashik city, including Nashik Central, Panchavati, Indiranagar, and Nashik Road. Efforts are underway to enhance participation and conduct workshops within these suburbs’ savings groups. Periodic training workshops are organized to help women create home-based goods for small-scale industries. The training covers skills such as pin-making, sewing, detergent production, jewelry crafting, and more.

Kalyani Bazaar is a hub for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and home-based businesswomen, all gathered under one roof to connect with numerous customers in a single location. This initiative was made possible by Dr. Adv Anjali Gopal Patil. Kalyani Bazaar took place on Gangapur Road, catering to the Nashik city area and its suburbs, including Nashik Road. It effectively brought together customers and professional women on the same platform, empowering them with the opportunity to purchase from female vendors.

Recognizing and appreciating these efforts is essential for acknowledging the significance of such professional and social contributions. Mrs. Anjali Patil oversees the Kalyani Credit Institution. The institution honors outstanding individuals with awards like the Successful Emergency Award, Mahawashta Award, Deepastambha Award, and recognizes those who contribute to tribal areas through the Social Work Award. India Sister Society

On 21st June 2019, Kalyani Mahila Nagari Co., the first sister society in India, was established under Patsanstha Marya in Nashik. In this sister society, Kakasaheb Koyte, President of the Maharashtra State Federation, guided women entrepreneurs in starting new businesses. Such objectives include providing business development training to women.
